From the very first glimpse I was smitten with Tara Tucker's work. It drew me in and moved me in a way I can hardly put into words. Tara, however, did so beautifully, "Each piece is a fragment of what we as humans experience in our lives. Since I’m hiding human identities inside animal bodies, viewers respond with a feeling of familiarity that is hard to put their finger on.”
Unfortunately, when I first saw Tara's work, my gallery was in Boston and Tara already had representation in Boston so the chances of showing her work were ZERO. Fortunately, she was represented by a good friend who tolerated my constant visits to stare at her work.
