My work often communicates what is unspoken and private, but commonly human. Making art is my obsession. Working spontaneously and intuitively, I enjoy painting everyday and gain a deep satisfaction from sharing my work with other people. It is an expression of my most personal thoughts and ideas.

The narrative quality of each painting becomes apparent through drawing, painting and adding bits of found-image collage. Everyday my invented language of symbols grows, repeats and changes.

After building layers of paint on board, I sand the surface and rebuild with more layers of paint. This makes the working surface smooth and makes the colors rich and vibrant.
